Turtle Pool Care is a family business run by Andy and Ronda Moore. We live here, we work here, and we treat every pool on our route like it's in our own backyard.
Our story
Andy and Ronda met on a short flight from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara. Andy, originally from the UK, was there on a management consulting project, and Ronda was working for an international English school. That short flight turned into a partnership in life and in business.
After Andy's consulting years, we built and ran a successful web design business together. When AI began changing that industry, we decided it was time for something different: a hands-on, local business where showing up and doing the work right is what matters. In 2024, we started Turtle Pool Care.
Our background shapes how we run it. Years of consulting and building websites taught us that people want reliability, clear communication, and proof that the job got done. So every regular visit ends with a service report that includes before-and-after photos of your pool and a photo of your filter pressure gauge. You don't have to be home, and you never have to wonder whether we came.
Why "Turtle"?
The story behind our name.
For years, our weekend mornings started the same way. Every Saturday and Sunday, we walked the full length of Jupiter Dog Beach at sunrise with our Dobermans. Along the way we watched loggerhead, green and leatherback sea turtles, all three species that nest on our coast, come ashore to lay their eggs, and later saw the hatchlings make their way to the water.
Those quiet early mornings stayed with us. Sea turtles are patient and steady, they come back to the same beaches year after year, and they depend on clean, healthy water. When we started our own pool business, the name was easy. It's the kind of company we wanted to be: steady, dependable, and back every week.

Andy Moore
Owner
Andy grew up in the UK and spent his early career in management consulting before co-founding a web design business with Ronda. Today he manages our pool technicians, handles repairs, and still cleans a lot of pools himself, so he knows every route firsthand. He brings the same focus on process, detail and follow-through to every pool we care for.
Ronda Moore
Owner
Ronda's career started in international education, working for an international English school, before she and Andy built their web design business together. Today she manages the office, runs our route schedules, and leads customer support. When you call or message Turtle Pool Care, Ronda is usually the one making sure you get an answer.
