What is Weekly Pool Service?
Weekly pool service keeps your pool clean, balanced, and ready to use. Each visit covers routine pool cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and a check of your equipment, followed by a documented service report.
What happens during your weekly pool service
Each pool is serviced according to its actual condition rather than following a rigid timed routine. A normal weekly visit covers routine pool cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment observation.
- 1Skim the pool surface.
- 2Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
- 3Brush pool walls, steps and appropriate surfaces.
- 4Vacuum as needed.
- 5Test pool water.
- 6Balance pool chemistry.
- 7Observe the pump, filter and other visible pool equipment for issues.
- 8Record filter pressure.
- 9Complete the service documentation and photographs.
Weekly service does not constitute a complete equipment inspection, and a normal visit does not guarantee detection of every hidden defect. We do not commit to a fixed visit duration or a fixed filter-cleaning interval.
A detailed service report after every visit
After your pool is serviced, you receive an email report documenting the visit. It shows who serviced the pool, when the technician arrived, the water-test results, chemicals added and their quantities, filter pressure, and before-and-after photographs of the pool.
Every standard service report also includes the filter PSI reading and a photograph of the pressure gauge, helping us track changes from the pool's normal clean pressure over time.
When chemicals require a waiting period before swimming, the report includes the applicable post-treatment instructions.
Customers can also rate the visit directly from the report with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down, giving Turtle Pool Care immediate feedback about the service.
Your service report includes
- Technician name
- Technician photo where supplied by the reporting system
- Service date and arrival time
- Chlorine reading
- pH reading
- Total alkalinity
- CYA / stabilizer
- Salt reading on saltwater pools
- Filter PSI
- Photograph of the filter pressure gauge
- Chemicals added
- Quantity of each chemical added
- Before pool photograph
- After pool photograph
- Post-treatment swim guidance when applicable
- Direct service-rating option
Understanding your pool service report
Chlorine
Shows the sanitizer level available to help control algae and microorganisms.
pH
Measures how acidic or basic the water is and affects swimmer comfort, equipment and pool surfaces.
Total alkalinity
Helps buffer pH against rapid changes.
CYA / stabilizer
Helps protect chlorine from rapid loss to sunlight.
Salt
Recorded on saltwater pools to help monitor the operating conditions needed by the salt-chlorination system.
Filter PSI
Shows resistance through the filtration system. We watch changes relative to that pool's normal clean filter pressure rather than relying on one universal PSI number.
Why consistent weekly service matters here
Pools in our service area operate year-round. Strong sun increases chlorine demand, heavy summer rain can dilute pool chemistry, and storms can introduce debris and shift water balance quickly.
Consistent weekly pool maintenance, cleaning, testing and chemical adjustment help keep the pool ahead of those changes rather than waiting for cloudy water or algae to become a larger problem.
Some properties also use well water, which can introduce metals, minerals or other source-water conditions requiring a different approach. Learn more about well-water pool care
